Riverwalk Grill and Taproom

Recently visited after a few years away - what a tremendous improvement, in both the atmosphere and the food. The restaurant offers a great view of Elk River, including outside seating. There is also some dock space for those arriving by boat. They have a good selection of beer, with a strong selection of local brews. We had both the pulled pork and the smoked brisket, and it was top notch. If you enjoy smoked meats, you will not be disappointed. There is also a selection of Great Lakes fish, sandwiches and burgers.

Last August I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous wedding at the Marina and the reception was helpful here at Riverwalk Grill. I'm not sure that it would hold a large wedding very easily, but for this more intimate wedding of about 75-100 guests it was perfect! The food was literally out-of-this-world. It was freaking delicious. And the staff were all stars being attentive not just all of the guests need but also of mine and my second photographer. If I'm ever in Elk Rapids again I will 100% be taking whoever is with me to dine at Riverwalk Grill.

The pulled pork nachos were so good! Loved everything about them! The bartender was nice and the locals were too.
